We’re proud to share some great news from Highland Farms — we have successfully passed the SALSA audit.


This achievement marks a significant milestone for our business and serves as a strong endorsement of the robust food safety and quality systems we have in place across our operations. SALSA (Safe and Local Supplier Approval) is a widely recognised food safety certification scheme in the UK, and achieving compliance demonstrates that our processes meet stringent industry standards.


The audit reviewed all key aspects of our operation, including food safety management, traceability, allergen controls, hygiene, training, and site standards. Successfully meeting these requirements reflects the hard work, attention to detail, and commitment shown by the entire Highland Farms team every day.
